With its long history, ancient Egypt is listed as one of the four cradles of civilisation together with China, India and Babylon. In the Bible, the foundation of Israel by Moses’s decedents on the Promised Land was preceded by the existence of Egypt. “Egyptology” was even established as an academic discipline for historians and archaeologists to study and explore the long, rich history as well as precious heritage Egypt holds.

The rich history of Egypt extends beyond the city of Cairo. To explore this ancient country, you can ride in a hot balloon as the explorers did in the 19th century and land in front of Luxor Temple. You can also have a boat ride on the Nile River to look for the Temple of Isis. If you are eager for a journey of mystery in the desert, riding a camel in the Sahara Desert or steering a 4WD in the White Desert are both excellent choices. After leaving ancient Egypt, you may come to the Citadel of Qaitbay erected on the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, the former Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The fortress is one of the most important defensive strongholds not only in Egypt, but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast.
After seeing the history of ancient Egypt and experiencing the vast Sahara, it’s time to be an ordinary tourist. In a resort of Hurghada, you can just lie down under a sun umbrella to enjoy the view and breeze from the Red Sea, where Moses and the Israelites crossed to escape from this country. Egypt is definitely a place of countless stories and secrets to be unveiled.
